Michelle is an experienced choral singer who has performed in large scale concerts across the UK with various professional orchestras. She has performed as a soloist at many venues including Leeds Town Hall, St George’s Hall, Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Michelle has also performed at 3 different proms seasons at the Royal Albert Hall.
Michelle was granted a student scholarship to sing with the BBC National Chorus of Wales whilst studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She trained with Catherine Williams from a young age, winning many competitions as a soloist in classical and opera genres. Michelle sang with Huddersfield Choral Society, Sing Live and is now a member of Barnsley Singers.
Michelle voluntarily set up and runs the school choir at her son’s school. She travelled with BYC in 2018 as part of the Musical Director Team, supporting the Development Choir as the choir undertook their summer tour to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018.
