2019 is the tenth anniversary of Barnsley Youth Choir and the BYC 100 Club will help support the major events we are organising during the year as well as give you a chance for a little flutter.
This is how it works:
There are only 100 numbers in this exclusive club to allocate to individuals. The first draw will be January 10th 2019 and following draws will be made on the first Thursday of the month during rehearsal time. The stake is £10 a month (or £120 annually) payable by standing order or enclose a cheque for the annual fee with the application form. Email byc100club@gmail.com to register.
The monthly payment buys one membership number, allocated on a first come first serve basis, that will be entered into the monthly draw. When the draw is full a reserve list will be created and we will be in contact if a space in the draw becomes available.
If you win the money will be transferred to your bank account (cheques can be posted to your home address by arrangement) and the names of the winners will be published on the BYC website and on the official social media.
The prize money will be split into first prize of 25%, second prize of 15% and third prize of 10% of the membership fees taken that month. The remaining 50% goes to the choir to help fund opportunities for the singers, resources and equipment.

There is potential to win £6000 of prizes throughout the year, from £10 per month payment.
The purpose of the BYC 100 Club is to raise funds. The money will be paid into the BYC bank account and used to provide opportunities for singers, resources and equipment.
For a cost of £10 per month (i.e. per draw) you will be allocated one number between 1 and 100.
A draw will be made on the first Thursday of every month with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.
The prizes per month will total 50% of the monthly income.
The prizes will be apportioned as: first prize 25%, second prize 15% and third prize 10%.
The BYC100 Club is a private lottery and is open to all parents, carers, volunteers, friends and supporters of Barnsley Youth Choir.
Numbers are limited to one per person and are allocated by the BYC100 Club on a first come first served basis.
In the event of a draw being oversubscribed a reserve list will be created and we will be in contact if a space in the draw becomes available.
Payments must be made by standing order on the 1st of each month or annually before the 8th January.
One month’s written notice is required for cancellation.
Member’s numbers will only be entered if their subscription is up to date.
If a member has no valid reason for missing a payment, their number may be sold to someone on the reserve list.
The prize funds will be transferred to the winning BYC100 Club Member within one week of the draw. Names and numbers of prize winners will be posted on the Choir’s website and on social media sites.
The BYC100 Club will be run by the Trustees of Barnsley Youth Choir. In case of any dispute the decision of the Committee is final.
Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the BYC100 Club if his/her subscription renewal remains unpaid for a period of one month.
All information will be kept according to GDPR and will be deleted when the draw has ended.
If a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into BYC funds after three months.
All participants in the scheme must be over 16 years of age.
