As you may be aware we have our exclusive Gala Dinner approaching on Saturday 18th May 2019 at the Holiday Inn at Dodworth. This is a real highlight in the BYC calendar - a really special and exclusive evening! We can confirm that TV star Christa Ackroyd will be the compere for the evening and Dan Jarvis MP will run a special charity auction with some spectacular lots that money just can’t buy.
The evening includes;
• A drinks reception on arrival
• A stunning 3 course meal
• Performances from the members of the Senior Choir selected to tour South Africa in August 2019
• A Grand Raffle with some incredible prizes including a TV, £200 and huge hampers. There are a LARGE number of prizes available.
• The charity auction
• Dancing until late! (the disco is a particular highlight!)
Every year people comment on what a fantastic evening they have had and that they can’t wait for the next one. Whilst the event has a focus on raising funds it’s just as important to us that those that come really enjoy themselves. It’s about celebrating our amazing young people but’s it’s also a chance to take part in a really exclusive and special evening.
We are thrilled that we have managed to secure slightly more capacity this year. Tickets are now available at a cost of £30 each or a table for 10 people at a cost of £270. We really hope that you are able to come along and support this event. On a personal level this is an event I always look forward to and I’m looking forward to spending time with people who do so much to support the choir. I hope to see you there.
