Welcome to the Barnsley Youth Choir website. The Barnsley Youth Choir was established in February 2009 to serve the children and young people of Barnsley. The choir currently has 170 members aged between 8 and 18 years old and is divided into two smaller choirs; The Children’s Choir and The Youth Choir. This vibrant and enthusiastic new choir has a varied repertoire of music that will include Classical, Pop, Gospel and Folk music. The team of musical directors have ambitious plans for the choir and hope to take part in festivals and competitions both in this country and abroad in the future.
